The Huawei Mate40 series global launch will be held on October 22, the domestic launch and sales may start at the end of October, Weibo digital blogger @鹏鹏君驾到 said.
The "September 22 global launch" date is basically true, but the possibility of another change should not be ruled out, he said, adding that domestic users are expected to get the first batch of products at the end of October at the earliest.
An earlier media report said that Huawei's Mate40 series would be released on October 15, with the Chinese version delayed until October 22.
The said report claims that the Mate40 will come with 66W fast charging feature. To this, Huawei Terminal responded by saying that it is "waiting for good news".
