Tencent Cloud today launched Lighthouse, a lightweight application server which the company claims is "easy for even elementary school students to grasp".
Users can create Lighthouse by clicking on the underlying base application image (e.g. Windows, Linux) and then clicking on the package specifications.
In addition to the underlying operating system, this cloud server comes pre-built with the application software (e.g. WordPress, LAMP, Bt-Panel) and the runtime environment the application depends on, as well as relevant initial configuration information.
In addition, the cloud server has a separate console for easy management.
Users can manage, maintain, and upgrade their computing, network, storage, security, and applications from the control interface.
For traffic, Lighthouse's public network is billed using a combination of basic and laddered traffic packs.
