Xiaomi today launched the Redmi 9i smartphone in India, which boasts of a 5,000mAh battery, pre-installed with MIUI 12 and is priced from around $112.
Xiaomi has already launched a number of Redmi 9 series models in India, including the Redmi 9 Prime, Redmi 9, and Redmi 9A.
The Redmi 9i is similar to the already announced Redmi 9A, but with 4GB of RAM and more storage options.
The Redmi 9i features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD teardrop display with a resolution of 720×1600.

It has a single 13-megapixel camera that supports video recording at 1080p@30/60fps.It has a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front and the selfie camera can record videos at 1080p@30fps.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 chipset, which is MediaTek's entry-level gaming chipset, based on the 12nm process and powered by the PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
The main selling point of the Redmi 9i is more RAM and higher storage.It features 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and offers 64GB and 128GB storage options.
It also has a massive 5000mAh battery with a charging voltage of 10W.
The Redmi9i is priced at Rs. 8,299 ($112) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant and Rs. 9,299 ($126) for the 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant in India.They will go on sale on September 18.
