In a letter to its partners in China, Liu Bo, Chinese smartphone maker OPPO's vice president and president of China region, announced today that OPPO's first smart TV product will be released soon, while the next-generation Find series models are expected to be launched in the first quarter of next year.
He also said in the letter that the overall sales volume this year is expected to increase to 100 million units, and the sales volume in China region is expected to increase by more than 30% in the second half of the year.
On August 31, two of OPPO's new TV models passed China's 3C certification, they are 55 inches and 65 inches.
Liu Bo said OPPO's overall resources will be relatively inclined to 5G, and the proportion of 5G phones will be further increased in the second half of the year.
He said that to seize the opportunity of Internet of Everything and form a loT strategy, the Find series will be launched at a rate of one phone a year in the future.
As for product positioning, he said the Find is mainly high-end, Reno is a hit, the A series is an entry-level boutique, and the K series is mainly online.
