Following its launch late last month, ZHITAI, a sub-brand of Yangtze Memory Technologies, said today that it will launch the first SSD product under the new brand in September.
Yangtze Memory is China's top memory chipmaker under the umbrella of Tsinghua Unigroup. The images released by ZHITAI showed that the SSD uses the M.2 interface and supports the NVMe protocol.

On August 20, Yangtze Memory held the Xtacking Partners Eco-Conference in Wuhan, China to announce the establishment of the Xtacking Eco-Alliance.
The Xtacking Eco-Alliance aims to establish a partner-based storage product and technology alliance with Yangtze Memory NAND as the carrier.
The Xtacking Eco-Alliance will enable Yangtze Memory to work with its eco-partners to promote a wide range of storage products and solutions to the market, said Gong Yi, senior vice president of Yangtze Memory.
Yesterday, Gloway Yi announced the Pro NVMe SSD, which is positioned as a high-end SSD with China-made chips.
It is based on Yangtze Memory 64-layer 3D TLC NAND, with cache provided by ChangXin Memory and equipped with Starblaze STAR1000P main controller.
