Chinese digital product maker Teclast on Tuesday said it will soon launch the M40 Android tablet with the Tiger T618 processor which is made by UNISOC, the China-based supplier of mobile communications chipsets and IoT chipsets.
Teclast said that the Tiger T618, an 8-core processor, scored 210,000 on Antutu, while hinting at a price tag of less than 900 yuan.
According to Antutu, the 210,000 score is between the Redmi Note 7 Pro's Snapdragon 675 and the Honor 10's Kirin 970.
In August last year, UNISOC unveiled its new 8-core architecture LTE mobile chip platform, the Tiger T618.
The chip is based on a 12nm process and consists of two 2.0 GHz Arm Cortex-A75 CPUs and six 1.8 GHz Arm Cortex-A55 processors with a Mali G52 GPU.
