OnePlus on Monday unveiled the new Hydrogen OS 11 for Chinese users, which will be available for the OnePlus 6 and newer OnePlus phones. Now, the Hydrogen OS 11 Developer Preview for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro is available for download.
A number of new features have been added to Hydrogen OS 11 such as AOD (Always On Display), Smart Gallery and Voice Notes.
The developer preview firmware currently released is actually the OnePlus 8 series developer preview version 3 (DP2 version) based on Android 11. This version is still in the early stages of development and has bugs that some third-party apps may not work properly, as well as some system stability and network stability issues.
The size of the installer package for this version is 3.69GB/3.75GB, and details of the update can be found on the HydrogenOS 11 official introduction page.
