The Yangtze Memory 64-layer SSD is expected to be available in the third quarter of this year, Chinastarmarket said, citing supply chain sources.
On January 16 of this year, Yangtze Memory said that its 64-layer consumer-grade solution products will be available later this year.
In late 2017, Yangtze Memory developed China's first 3D NAND flash memory with a 32-layer stack.
In September 2019, Yangtze Memory announced mass production of a 64-layer 256 Gb TLC 3D NAND flash memory based on the Xtacking architecture, the first 64-layer 3D NAND flash memory in China.
On April 13 of this year, Yangtze Memory announced that its 128-layer QLC 3D flash memory (X2-6070) has been successfully developed and validated on end products such as SSDs from several master manufacturers.
SSDs with 64 layers of Yangtze Memory NAND particles are already available at JD.com.
