The Windows 10 May 2020 update has been officially released today, even though it hasn't come to the average user's computer yet.
Microsoft released the official SDK today, but according to WZor, the official version of the Windows 10 update has also been released on MSDN, the official version number is 19041.208 (I believe many people have already installed or updated this version).
According to ZDNet's Mary Jo Foley, the update was supposed to roll out to everyone today, but Microsoft pushed the update back a bit to patch a 0day security vulnerability.
On the other hand, the COVID-19 coronavirus epidemic has also forced Microsoft to focus more on the computer stability of those who work from home, so it's in no hurry to roll out big feature updates.
The Windows 10 May 2020 update is expected to gradually start rolling out later this month, and it won't be forced onto anyone's PC like previous feature updates.
Eventually, it will pop up in the Settings app in Windows Update, and there will be an option to select the installation. If you choose to ignore it, it won't automatically upgrade to anything new until the version used is near the end of support.
As for the exact date of when the May 2020 update will actually be available to the public, we expect it to be around May 28.
