The size of China's e-gaming market in 2019 exceeds 100 billion yuan to 117.53 billion yuan, according to a report released yesterday by iResearch Consulting.
The report predicts that the overall e-gaming market will reach 140.5 billion yuan in 2020 and 165.1 billion yuan by 2021.
In the analysis of the attributes of Chinese e-gaming users, Chinese e-gaming users are still predominantly male, accounting for 64 percent, while the proportion of female increased to 36 percent.

The age concentration of users is 19-22 years old, with a 39.7% share. Among China's e-gaming users (except for those without income such as students), the highest percentage of individuals with a monthly income of 5,000-8,000 yuan was 29.2% in 2020.
