The global sales of the Redmi Note 8 series exceeded 30 million units, Lu Weibing, vice president of Xiaomi Group, announced on Weibo today.
Lu Weibing said the Redmi Note 8 series broke 1 million units in the first month, 5 million units in 2 months, and 10 million units in 3 months, two months ahead of the Note 7 series to achieve this goal.
The Note8 series is the only model from Chinese manufacturers to make the list in Canalys' global mobile phone sales ranking for the fourth quarter of 2019.
In August 2019, the Redmi Note 8 and 8 Pro is released.
