iQOO promises 3 years of software update support for iQOO 3

Compared to the iPhone, Android phones are usually poor in terms of software support, so some phone manufacturers offer their unique controls to enhance the user experience by constantly optimizing the Android system.

iQOO has now joined the fray with a commitment to update the iQOO 3 flagship phone within three years.

The iQOO India Twitter account released the news yesterday, saying that iQOO 3 will get two major OS upgrades. This means that this Android 10-powered phone will be upgraded to Android 11 and Android 12.

The tweet also revealed that iQOO 3 will get security and OTA updates in 3 years, also because of the software support until 2023. This is certainly good news for mobile phone users.

The iQOO 3 features a small aperture cutout screen with a 6.44-inch screen size and a resolution of 2,400×1,080 on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 flagship platform.

It supports SA, NSA dual-mode 5G, debuts UFS 3.1 flash memory, also comes with LPDDR5 memory, 4,440mAh battery capacity, supports 55W ultra-fast flash charging and can charge the battery 50% in 15 minutes.

The iQOO 3 features a 48-megapixel quad-photo scheme that includes a 48-megapixel main camera + 13-megapixel wide-angle lens + 13-megapixel portrait lens + 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens with 2x light zoom and 20x hybrid zoom support.
