A number of leaked Xiaomi Band 5 images were recently exposed on Weibo, showing what the device may look like.
Looking at the images, the Xiaomi Band 5's screen has undergone a significant upgrade, evolving from the previous square screen to a new oval cutout screen with the cutout located in the lower middle of the screen, which should be where the capacitive buttons are if not accidentally.
The screen is rumored to be upgraded from 0.95 inches to 1.2 inches, and the bezels are visually very narrow as well, with the screen percentage expected to reach a fairly high level.
In addition, the Xiaomi Band 5 continues the interchangeable wristband design of the previous Xiaomi Band series, which is available in at least two colors, grey and black.
On April 17, Huami officials had revealed that the Xiaomi Band 5, a joint effort between Huami and Xiaomi, will be available later this year.
Huami has previously said that the Xiaomi Band series, created in partnership with Xiaomi, has become the world's best-selling smart wearable after its launch in 2014, and last year's Xiaomi Band 4 set a record of more than one million units shipped worldwide in eight days of sales.
