As the third product in the Redmi Note 9 series, the Redmi Note 9 brings a 6.53-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution and a perforated 13-megapixel selfie camera in the upper left corner.
On the back, it has the same 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 main sensor as the Redmi Note 9S, with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and two 2-megapixel sensors next to it - one for macro and the other for depth data, with the fingerprint scanner located under the camera.
The Redmi Note 9 is powered by the new MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G52 GPU and is available with 3/4GB RAM and 64/128GB storage.
It has a 5020 mAh battery and supports 18W fast wired charging. The phone will be powered by Android 10 and also brings an IR remote, headphone jack and NFC.
The new Redmi Note 9 starts at €183 for the 3/64GB model and €230 for a 4/128GB model.
The phone will be available in green, grey and white and will go on sale from mid-May.
Redmi Note 9 Pro
The international version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro is actually the same as the Note 9 Pro Max as it is known to Indian users.
It features a 6.67 FHD+ IPS display, 64 million quad cameras at the rear and a Snapdragon 720G chipset.
The design of the green color scheme has been slightly adjusted, with a new two-color color scheme, and the position of the camera has changed slightly, with the fingerprint sensor remaining on the right side of the body.
The phone will be available in both 6/64GB and 6/128GB versions with green, white and grey colorways. The 6/64GB version starts at €247 and the 6/128GB version starts at €275 and goes on sale in mid-May.
