Cook says iPhone SE faster than high-end Android phones

Apple recently unveiled the 2020 iPhone SE, and now the company is betting heavily on marketing in hopes of making the device a big seller, especially after its debut during the current health crisis.

Apple CEO Tim Cook recently praised the newly launched iPhone during a conference call with analysts, noting that the cheapest iPhone is even faster than the most expensive Android smartphones.

In other words, those who want a top-notch performance phone should buy the 2020 iPhone SE instead of the Samsung Galaxy S20 or the latest generation Google Pixel.

The iPhone SE comes with the A13 Bionic chip - which is also used in the latest generation of iPhones.

The phones are based on the iPhone 8, so they share the same body and a range of features, including a front-facing Home button with integrated Touch ID.

The new iPhone SE sells for $399 in the US with 64GB of storage, so it's the cheapest iPhone you can buy right now.

The new high-end iPhone is not expected to be released until September.
