Xiaomi recently open sourced the Android 10 based kernel source code for Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.
In recent years, Xiaomi has improved a lot on the open source of kernel code. Many models such as Xiaomi 10 series are open source on the day of release, and other models are gradually following up.
Redmi released Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max models in India, equipped with MIUI 11 based on Android 10.
At present, Xiaomi has released the kernel source code of these two models, and developers can download and compile it in the GitHub repository.
The earlier Redmi Note 8 Pro system version was Android 9 when it was released. Xiaomi released the kernel source code at the time in September last year and pushed an Android 10-based system update for the model earlier this year. The open source kernel code has also been updated.

At the end of March, Xiaomi open-sourced the source code of the Redmi K30 Pro kernel, which is based on Android Q. Developers can download it from the GitHub page.
