Apple announced that the iPad Pro’s Magic Keyboard with Trackpad has become available for order and will be delivered to customers next week.
This is earlier than the original timetable. Apple originally said that it will start accepting orders in May.
Apple wrote in a press release:
The new iPad Pro’s Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro can be ordered today on apple.com and the Apple Store app, and users in more than 30 countries and regions, including the United States, can start ordering today.
The Magic Keyboard will arrive in the hands of customers next week and will be purchased in some Apple direct stores and some Apple authorized dealers (prices may vary).
Magic Keyboard is compatible with iPad Pro models in 2018 and 2020.
It uses a scissor structure keyboard and touchpad pairing, and built-in USB-C interface.
Apple claims that the new Magic Keyboard uses a "floating design with smooth angle adjustments." It is magnetically connected to the iPad Pro and has a "unique cantilever hinge" function that can be adjusted up to 130 degrees. This keyboard also has a backlight function .
Magic Keyboard is now available for purchase on the Apple website. The 11-inch model is priced at $299, and the 12.9-inch model is priced at $349.
For education users, the 11-inch iPad Pro is priced at $279, and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is priced at $329.
