The microscope was manufactured by Tencent AI Lab and obtained the registration certificate issued by NMPA, becoming the first intelligent microscope approved for clinical application in hospitals in China.

Tencent claims that this smart microscope can identify and distinguish similar cells by providing accurate quantitative analysis, improving the accuracy and consistency of the results.

Tencent said that this intelligent microscope system is far from being able to replace the pathologist, and the pathologist will always have an irreplaceable role in the pathological diagnosis process.

In addition, the research and development of smart microscopes began in 2018. Tencent provides AI technology, Sunny Optical Technology provides hardware research and development, and Jinyu provides pathology expertise and expert resource support.
