Last night Taobao anchor Wei Ya sold the most expensive product ever on Taobao Live - a rocket worth 40 million yuan - and the buyer was Chang Guang Satellite (CGSTL), the first commercial remote sensing satellite company in China.
CGSTL says Wei Ya has strong bargaining power and "the source is really in stock.
The rocket model is the Kuaizhou I solid launch vehicle, which was developed by Hubei Space Science and Technology Rocket Technology Co.
The rocket, which normally costs around 45 million yuan for a commercial launch, is now available for 40 million yuan on Taobao Live, and the CGSTL "coupon" is worth around 5 million yuan.
With regard to the purchase of the rocket, the company also responded at noon to the hot-button issues of concern to its network members, as follows.
Q: What do you do for a living?
A: We take pictures of the Earth, cameras that are walking in space. Mainly building satellites, producing satellite data and doing satellite applications.
Q:Why buy Kuaizhou rocket?
A: We've sent 16 satellites to Earth, and if China wants to have its own google earth, we'll have to keep launching. Kuaizhou has fast response, low cost, high reliability, high orbital accuracy, we've had a lot of cooperation before this. So for this live broadcast, we're highly focused.
Q:Why did you choose to buy on through Wei Ya's live streaming instead of communicating offline?
A: "3 2 1 on the shelves!" A new model of commercial spaceflight has been initiated. In addition, Wei Ya teachers have strong bargaining power and "real stock of goods", through Wei Ya's live platform does get a discount.
Q: Do you sell satellites and satellite imagery? How to buy it?
A: Sell. People can buy not only satellites, but also satellite remote sensing images. By registering and logging in to the Tesco website link, you can get 20% off all archived images, and you can also mobilize satellites online to take photos wherever you want.
Q: As a satellite, what was the first time I bought something on Taobao Live?
A: The women of Wei Ya don't have hand speed, but luckily I can run fast too. (Serious Face: Space is far away, but dreams are certainly within reach. (It's exciting to come out of the loop in such a way that brings attention to the traditional aerospace field, and in the future, we will continue to work on exploring farther and farther afield)
