JD.com's retail technology team announced today that the "Dark Mode" of the JD.com App is under beta and will soon be available.
This feature will support iOS 13 and below systems. In low light environments, adjust the application color and grayscale to reduce the power consumption of the phone.
JD.com retail technology said recently that it hopes that systems below iOS 13 can also support dark mode. In addition, it also provides users with the right to choose independently. You can manually turn off the dark mode in the app without following the system theme change.
According to JD.com, the App involves a large number of business modules, and the entire adaptation workload is huge.
In order to solve the above problems and allow each module to quickly access through a unified interface, the dark basic components have been developed to provide the following capabilities:
Support iOS 9 and above systems, and compatible with iOS 13 dark mode;
Support overall cut and downgrade;
Support follow system mode, you can also choose not to follow and use the mode inside the App;
Built-in debugging tools help developers to debug quickly and improve efficiency;
Support for color mode expansion.
Dark mode "improves battery life, improves visibility for people with poor vision and strong light, and better uses the device in low light environments."
Earlier, the WeChat team stated that the development of the WeChat dark mode for iOS has been completed and it is expected to be launched in the next new version.
