Xiaomi MIUI 11 can force enable WeChat dark mode-CnTechPost

With the Xiaomi MIUI 11 system update, after the Xiaomi mobile phone turns on dark mode and the global inverse color, users can force the use of the dark mode in WeChat.

This workaround works on MIUI 11 version 20.3.12 on Xiaomi 8 Explorer Edition and also applies to Redmi K20 Pro.

It is worth noting that the global inverse color option in the dark mode of the MIUI system must be turned on. If global inverse color is turned off, only the dark mode is turned on. WeChat cannot follow the system to enable the dark mode.

Earlier, the Tencent WeChat team said that in order to optimize the user experience, WeChat and Apple reached a cooperation to jointly explore the dark mode experience of WeChat in the iOS system.

At present, the feature has been developed and it is expected to be launched in the next new version.

Recently, the WeChat iOS version has tested some dark modes, and the WeChat Android version is also testing the dark mode in grayscale.
