The Game Developers Conference (GDC) announced today that GDC 2020 will take place online on March 16.
Although GDC organizers hope to postpone it until the summer, many developers and publishers are ready to make the announcement live online in mid-March.
In response, the organizer of GDC wrote on the official website:
Thanks to submissions from many of the original speakers who had talks accepted for GDC 2020, organizers will be streaming speaker-recorded versions of the talks they would have given in person, for free all week (from 9am to 5pm PT) from March 16th through 20th.
GDC is the annual event video game developer conference that focuses on learning inspiration as well as the web.
The conference was originally scheduled to be held in San Francisco from March 16th to 20th, and the main participants included giants such as Amazon, Facebook, Sony, Microsoft, Intel, etc.
All GDC 2020 live broadcasts will be conducted on GDC's Twitch channel.
