China's new coronavirus epidemic is under control, Apple CEO Tim Cook said on Thursday, adding he is optimistic about the future.
Cook spoke at an event in Birmingham, Alabama and was interviewed afterwards.
He said in his opinion, China is controlling the effects of the coronavirus. Everyday data on the new crown epidemic is declining, so we are optimistic about this.
He also mentioned Apple's Chinese supplier capacity recovery work, saying that the factory in China has been reopened and the factory can operate under more open conditions. These factories are currently on a hill climb to return to normal conditions.
Earlier Apple announced that due to the impact of the closure of Apple's Chinese stores and supply issues, Apple's revenue target for the first quarter of 2020 will not be met.
