Soon, by replacing Huawei Mobile Services, the HMS Core app will also be installed on Huawei smartphones, the report said.

Huawei Mobile Service Core (HMS Core) is a collection of cloud services and frameworks that provide support for HMS applications.

As early beta testers, you must test the new HMS Core framework (application). After installing the application, HMS Core has replaced the existing Huawei Mobile Services.

The name and icon of the application have been modified and the original "Huawei Mobile Services" has been renamed to "HMS Core".

However, in the background, it can still be used as a Huawei mobile service HMS, which may be why the company does not want to reveal too much information to Beta testers.

The HMS application package in Huawei App Gallery will also be replaced with "HMS Core". This is due to the introduction of new features in HMS Core 4.0 by Huawei.

Huawei released HMS Core 4.0 to the world on January 16, saying that the launch of HMS Core 4.0 will help global developers to develop efficiently, grow rapidly, and succeed in business.

As it was banned from using GMS (Google Mobile Services), Huawei created its own HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) and has launched a fund to encourage ecological developers, covering maps, music, video, email and other fields.

According to Huawei, in addition to services including Huawei account, payment, analytics, cloud space and advertising, many new capabilities that developers were waiting have been added in the HMS Core 4.0, including machine learning, unified code scanning and short-range communication services.

Based on the above capabilities, HMS Core can fully provide a full range of services for different mobile application developers around the world, Huawei said.

It was previously reported that the new HMS Core can be used with Google Mobile Services, which means that old devices with GMS can also access the new HMS suite, but it has not yet been officially confirmed.

For developers, HMS Core is a collection of open functions of Huawei Mobile Services that can help developers effectively build high-quality applications.

Currently, the HMS Core Kit allows developers to access 24 HMS Core kits, 55 services and 997 APIs. Includes services such as in-app purchases (IAP), account login and gaming services, push notifications, analytics, revenue, maps, locations, and more.
