The Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design models have disappeared from the monthly and quarterly security update pages, according to Huawei Central.
The Huawei Mate 10 series flagship mobile phone product was launched in 2017 and is equipped with dual rear cameras and Kirin 970 processors. These smartphones previously could receive monthly EMUI security update patches.
Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, and Mate 10 Porsche Design phones were pre-installed with EMUI 8.0 when they were released and launched, and received mainstream operating system upgrades, namely EMUI 8.1, EMUI 9.0, EMUI 9.1 and the current EMUI 10.
The security update for Huawei Mate 10 series phones has not been downgraded to the quarterly part but has disappeared directly from the update page.
This may be a mistake because Mate 10 devices still meet the requirements of EMUI10, but it is also true that Mate 10 series phones are facing the end of the software update cycle.
Huawei Mate 10 Lite phones are still on the quarterly update page and no longer receive monthly security updates.
