The new Red Devil 5G gaming phone will be released in an online event, Nubia President Ni Fei said on Weibo on Wednesday.
Affected by the new coronavirus epidemic, many companies have also shifted their work to online. This has also made it difficult for mobile phone manufacturers to hold press events.
cnTechPost mentioned in recent posts that Chinese smartphones makers including Honor, Xiaomi and Black Shark have all been planning to release new products online.
It is currently known that the Red Devils 5G mobile phone will use a 144Hz refresh rate screen and be equipped with LPDDR5 memory. The maximum memory is expected to reach 16GB.
In order to improve gaming performance, Red Devil 3, released last April, became the first smartphone with built-in fans. On the upcoming Red Devil 5G smartphone, this technology may be re-used, for charging.
Ni Fei, Nubia president and co-founder, said on Weibo on Saturday that the Red Devil 5G will use the technology of what he called as "air-cooled turbo fast charge."
He said the built-in fan + liquid cooling technology that was originally used for game cooling will now be used for charging and cooling with the help of AI.
