Apple plans to release an iPhone with Touch ID power button design in the first half of 2021, according to the latest report by Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
The iPhone will come with an LCD display, which also implies that it will be a low-cost iPhone, the report said.
According to a report released by Kuo last month, this device does not have a Face ID component, so its screen gap is narrow.
Kuo revealed that the Touch ID power button design of the new iPhone is capacitive, and Apple will also adopt a "new design" to improve the user experience.
Kuo said last month that the so-called "iPhone SE 2 Plus" will be equipped with a 5.5-inch or 6.1-inch display, and its screen size will be between the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 11.
He also said at the time that Apple's 2021 product lineup will include high-end iPhones with Face ID and under-screen Touch ID.
