Huawei announced on January 22 that the number of EMUI 10 users exceeded 50 million, marking another milestone.
Last month, Huawei said that 10 million phones were already running Android 10-based EMUI 10. The number of EMUI users exceeded 50 million after OTA updates obtained by a large number of Huawei phones.
EMUI 10 was originally launched in China on August 9 last year. It has dark mode and a faster response interface thanks to GPU Turbo 3.0 and other enhancers.
EMUI 10 opens up the barriers between Windows and Android from the bottom of the system, and realizes seamless collaboration between PC and mobile phone. The PC's keyboard and mouse can become the peripherals of the mobile phone.
EMUI 10 adopts three key distributed technologies and adopts a distributed UI programming framework to achieve multi-terminal self-adaption of the application interface.
Huawei officially announced the EMUI 10 upgrade plan for February and March. The models that are scheduled to be launched in mid-to-late February 2020 include nova 5, nova 5i Pro, nova 5z, and Honor 20S; the models that are scheduled to be launched in early March 2020 are nova 5i, Huawei Enjoy 10S, and Honor 20 Youth Edition.
