The DM8, a database product from Wuhan Da Meng Database Co., Ltd, has completed product compatibility test with the Unity Operating System (UOS), the systemโs developer Union Tech said on Tuesday.
At present, DM8 has completed adaption work on CPU platforms including Loongson, Kunpeng, Zhaoxin, Feiteng, and Haiguang. The test results show that the two products are fully compatible and adaptable, and run smoothly, Union Tech said.
In May 2019, Da Meng launched a new generation of self-developed database management system DM8, which bears the advantages of current advanced new technology ideas and mainstream database products, and combines the advantages of distributed, elastic and cloud computing.
DM8's diverse architecture meets the needs of different scenarios, supports ultra-large-scale concurrent transaction processing and transaction-analysis hybrid business processing, dynamically allocates computing resources, and achieves more refined resource utilization and lower cost investment.
Da Meng will continue to work with the unified operating system UOS and other software and hardware manufacturers to build an independent ecosystem and promote the full scale application of domestic software and hardware, Union Tech said.
