Xiaomi launched the Pocophone F1 smartphone last year, which is positioned as the "affordable Snapdragon 845 phone".
The price of the device in Hong Kong was 2,799 Hong Kong dollars (6GB + 128GB, about $350), which is very competitive at the same price and is highly sought after by foreign consumers.
However, in 2019, there is nothing happened with the Pocophone series. Previously, there were rumors that Redmi K20 and K20 Pro would be named Pocophone F2 and Pocophone F2 Pro in India, but this is not the case.
With the departure of the head of Xiaomi's Pocophone, Jai Mani, even some analysts believe that Xiaomi may cut off the Pocophone product line.
However, Xiaomi finally gave a reassurance to consumers who like Pocophone. Recently, Alvin Tse (@atytse), head of Pocophone Global, hinted on Twitter that there will be information about Pocophone in 2020.
This means that the Pocophone series has not been cut off, but officially returned in 2020. It can be expected to return as the Xiaomi 10 Parity International Edition.
