Union Tech, the company behind China-made operating system Unity Operating System (UOS), announced on Thursday that the UOS has completed compatibility adaptation with Vesystem, China's leading "hybrid cloud desktop platform" service provider.

Union Tech said Vesystem's next-generation cloud desktop system is fully compatible with the unified operating system UOS, and the overall operation is stable, which can meet the large-scale terminal management, security, operation and maintenance needs of defense, government and enterprise customers.

UOS, an operating system developed by China-based software designers, is fully adapting to industry chain partners, Zhang Muliang, deputy general manager of Union Tech, said at an event recently.

Union Tech has included a list of adaptations on the official website, including 360 safe browsers, Firefox, Chrome and other popular software that have been adapted.

At present, Union Tech has launched extensive and in-depth cooperation with Godson, Feiteng, Shenwei, Kunpeng, Zhaoxin, Haiguang and other manufacturers, and has launched all-round compatibility with mainstream domestic device manufacturers and hundreds of software manufacturers.

They also hopes that more partners can participate in the adaptation work of the unified operating system UOS.

At the conference on the advancement of the Jiupeng computing (ecological) industry construction held on the 12th, Zhang Muliang, deputy general manager of Union Tech, said that at present, the unified operating system UOS is fully adapting to industry chain partners.

Vesystem is a leading domestic โ€œhybrid cloud desktop platformโ€ service provider. It has independently developed and launched the first domestic desktop virtualization product based on the NGD (Next Generation Desktop) architectureโ€”Hexin Next Generation Cloud Desktop System (VENGD).

The UOS operating system is divided into a desktop version and a server version. The desktop version uses an independently developed desktop environment. The system can support domestic CPU platforms such as x86, Loongson, Shenwei, ARM, etc., and can replace the Microsoft Windows operating system to meet the needs of different users for office, life, and entertainment.

Not long ago, the unified operating system UOS and Loongson completed compatibility and adaptation, fully adapting to Loongson desktop computers and servers, and recently launched on the unified operating system official website.
