Google plans to push system updates to the Pixel 4 series that will bring better memory management mechanisms, but the details are not officially stated, according to The Verge.
The report said that iPhones often need only half of the memory space of Android phones to complete various background tasks and run smoothly. Google is aware of this and plans to perform memory management on the already launched Pixel 4/XL optimized testing.
Google Pixel Vice President of Product Sabrina Ellis said in an interview with The Verge that the Pixel 4 series phones will receive an update this month that will bring a new feature t of the memory management mechanism of the background application.
Ellis said that this feature may be rolled out to another Android phones, but may have to wait for the next Android version.
