Days after Huawei began to roll out EMUI 10 Beta updates to a slew of smartphones, the P30 and P30 Pro are beginning to receive stable versions of the updates.
The update is currently available only in China to both regular and beta testers.
For regular users, the devices will be updated from version 9.1.0.26 to 10.0.0.166, while the beta version gets updated from 10.0.0.159 to 10.0.0.166.
It’s about 1GB for those on Beta, while it weighs as much as 5GB for regular users.
Global versions of the P30 and P30 Pro will still have to wait but the time should not be long.
The EMUI 10 was first spotted running on a Huawei P30 Pro last June. EMUI 10 beta for Huawei Mate 20 was rolled out in October.
On October 30, cnTechPost reported that Huawei was releasing the EMUI 10 beta updates for devices including the Huawei P30 Lite, P smart+, Huawei P smart 2019, Nova 5T, and the Huawei Mate 20 Series, allowing those mid-range phones to get the Android-10 based UI.
On November 9 Huawei announced the EMUI 10 beta update was available for Huawei nova 4e, Maimang 8, Maimang 7, Huawei Enjoy 9S and Honor 20i.
