OnePlus on Monday unveiled the new Hydrogen OS 11 for Chinese users, which will be available for the OnePlus 6 and newer OnePlus phones. Now, the Hydrogen OS 11 Developer Preview for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro is available for download.

OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro phones get dedicated one-touch dark mode toggle after upgrading Android 11 Beta. 

Google released Android 11 Beta 1 yesterday, and now OnePlus, in addition to OPPO, and Xiaomi, have also announced that their OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro can be upgraded with Android 11 Beta 1.

Some OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone users are experiencing issues with not being able to watch Netflix HD videos properly, according to a report on OnePlus' official forum.

OnePlus had previously released the new OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro phones, and the OnePlus 8 Pro's perspective filter feature has raised privacy concerns in China. 

OnePlus recently released the Hydrogen OS 10.5.8.IN11 update for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, adding several targeted optimizations.

OnePlus is now pushing the OxygenOS 10.5.6 update to the OnePlus 8 as well as the 8 Pro. This update does not bring any new features but does contain some improvements to the camera's functionality.

Some users have recently reported some issues with the OnePlus 8 Pro's display, including a green screen, loss of black detail (black crush) at low brightness, image residuals and burnt screen, and a green hue at lower brightness.

In recent years, screen quality has become an important battleground for manufacturers to fight on flagship smartphones. 

OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro smartphone users can now use the Google game streaming service Google Stadia on their devices.
