Tencent announced the full public testing of QClaw, allowing users to download and use the local AI assistant without an invitation code.

Users can download the latest version from the official website, complete the installation in 20 seconds, and issue commands, according to a Tencent statement on Friday.

The new version's chat capabilities cover five major instant messaging tools, including WeChat, WeCom, QQ, Feishu, and DingTalk.

Within the WeCom ecosystem, QClaw can help users reply to messages, summarize individual and group chats, draft documents, schedule appointments, and create to-do lists.

The public test also introduced a visual space called "Pixel Studio," where users can intuitively see the AI agent's working status as it organizes files or executes tasks in the background.

A visual scheduled task feature was also officially launched in this update, allowing users to independently toggle and modify recurring tasks, making complex life and work management simpler.

The company just launched its zero-deployment AI tool WorkBuddy and began internal testing of QClaw last week.

Competition in the desktop AI sector is becoming increasingly fierce, with tech giants like Alibaba, ByteDance, and Baidu having all launched similar products recently.

China's active AI agents will top 350 million by 2031, driving a more than 30-fold annual surge in token consumption, according to IDC.
