Alibaba's logistics platform CaiNiao announced on Monday that it has launched a cross-border direct delivery service from China to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia with logistics company Best Inc.
Ouyang Chongguang, head of cross-border Southeast Asia at CaiNiao, said the direct delivery service ensures timeliness and quality of service, providing a better online shopping experience for customers.
Southeast Asian online shoppers can check the direct delivery service when placing orders through Tmall.com and Tanbao overseas, and the parcels will be delivered to their doorsteps in about a week's time.
