Luxury brand Caviar officially entered China on Sunday, offering Huawei phones priced up to RMB 465,000 ($71,080).
Caviar's exclusively designed smartphones and accessories are handcrafted from luxurious materials, and it has been offering customized luxury models, such as the iPhone and Samsung's annual flagship phones, since November 14, 2011.
Currently Caviar sells customized phones in China including Huawei Mate 40 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro/Max and other devices, the most expensive being the PS5 customized version at RMB 2.3 million, followed by the Samsung S21+/Ultra in solid gold and the iPhone 12 Pro/Max.
It currently offers only three Huawei Mate 40 Pro models and they are still on pre-order, priced at RMB 465,000, RMB 385,000 and RMB 428,000 respectively.
The iPhone 12 Pro series has relatively more custom models, but also higher prices.
It should be noted that these phones are all high-end luxury customizations based on the original models, meaning that there are no changes to the phone's specifications and only the appearance is different from the original.
