iSpace, a privately owned Chinese launch vehicle company, recently completed performance tests, vibration tests, and high and low-temperature tests of its SQX-2 landing gear buffer, saying the results show the product is ready for delivery.

iSpace said that reusable launch vehicle technology is about to enter a whole new era, with the company's in-house developed reusable launch vehicle SQX-2 scheduled for vertical takeoff and landing tests in 2021.

Founded in October 2016, iSpace successfully launched the SQX-1S solid rocket and the SQX-1Z solid suborbital sounding rocket in 2018.

In 2019, iSpace successfully launched the SQX-1 rocket, the first time in the history of private commercial spaceflight in China that multiple satellites were launched into orbit using a single rocket.
