Huawei today announced the nova8 SE smartphone with 66W fast charging support, which charges the battery to 60% in 15 minutes and is priced from RMB 2,599 yuan ($393).
The Huawei nova8 SE features a 6.53-inch OLED screen with a resolution of up to 2400x1080 and supports 100% DCI P3 wide color gamut, HDR10. The phone is 7.46mm thick and weighs 178g.
It is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity chips, with the standard version sporting a Dimensity 720 chip and the high-spec version sporting a Dimensity 800U chip.
Huawei nova8 SE supports 5G as well as 4G networking on the main card in the standard version and two 5G cards at the same time in the high spec version.
The Huawei nova8 SE packs a 3800 mAh battery with a 66W fast charge that charges 60% in 15 minutes and 100% in 35 minutes.

It comes pre-installed with EMUI 10.1 which is deeply customized based on Android 10 OS, has on-screen fingerprint recognition, Type-C port.
The Huawei nova8 SE has a 64-megapixel main shooter at the rear, 8-megapixel super wide-angle, 2-megapixel depth of field, and 2-megapixel macro lens combo with support for wide-angle and night view mode. It has a 16-megapixel front-facing lens with support for portrait mode, time-lapse photography, filters.
The Huawei Nova 8 SE is priced at RMB 2,599 for the 8+128GB standard variant (Dimensity 720) and RMB 2,699 for the 8+128GB premium variant (Dimensity 800U).
They will be available on Huawei Mall, authorized e-commerce platforms, Huawei Experience Stores, and authorized retailers from November 11 at 0:00.
