At today's Mate40 series China launch event, Wang Jun, president of HUAWEI Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, announced the launch of HI, Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solutions brand, which aims to create smart grid-connected electric vehicles through deep collaboration with car companies through Huawei's full-stack intelligent automotive solutions.

He said HI stands for Huawei Intelligent Automotive Solution, which is both Huawei's technological innovation in the smart car field and business model innovation.

HI provides computing power and operating systems, including three major computing platforms: Intelligent Driving, Intelligent Cockpit, and Intelligent Vehicle Control, as well as three operating systems: AOS (Intelligent Driving Operating System), HOS (Intelligent Cockpit Operating System), and VOS (Intelligent Vehicle Control Operating System).

The HI Advanced Autopilot ADS creates the best advanced autopilot system for China's road scenarios. It is based on the L4 level autopilot architecture and provides a full-stack solution for L4~L2+ level autopilot with leading sensors, central supercomputing, and algorithms.

It is capable of self-learning and self-evolving based on machine self-learning technology.

HI's core power components adopt an immersive oil-cooled cooling method, which provides better cooling at high speeds and accelerates from 0-100 km in 3 seconds.

The HI Intelligent Cabin adopts an in-house developed computing platform, Harmony cabin operating system, and a rich application ecology.

The ARHUD can turn an ordinary windshield into a 70-inch high-definition screen, combined with 7.1 surround sound, allowing users to watch movies, play games, and hold video conferences.

At the same time, it is equipped with visual recognition, semantic understanding, and AI technology, which can communicate in natural language, understand the user's gestures and expressions, and intelligently serve the user.

In terms of safety, HI dual electric drive system linkage control and redundant backup can ensure no loss of power and ensure driving safety.

At the same time, AI and big data analysis can provide early warning of battery abnormalities, further enhancing car safety. In the field of information security, Huawei has applied its long-term accumulation to cars to protect users' information security and privacy.

Wang Jun said, "HI stands for technological innovation as well as business model innovation, and it adopts a new model of joint development, in which Huawei gives full play to its technological advantages and OEMs give full play to their vehicle advantages to jointly design and develop high-quality models. The brand of the car company will be used in the new model, and the HI logo will also be shown on the car.
