On October 22, Li Auto announced the appointment of Fan Zheng as a new independent director to the Company's Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Fan will also become a member of the Audit Committee, the Compensation Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the Company's Board of Directors.
Fan graduated from Hebei University of Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree in 1999.
Prior to joining Li Auto's board of directors, Fan Zheng served as co-founder and vice president of Auto Home from 2005 to 2016 and as co-founder and vice president of popop.com from 2000 to 2005.
Effective with this appointment, Li Auto's Board of Directors will consist of six members, namely, Li Xiang, Yannan Shen, Tie Li, Xing Wang, Hongqiang Zhao and Fan Zheng.

Li Xiang will serve as the company's founder, chairman and CEO, Shen Yannan will serve as co-founder, director and president, and Li Tie will serve as director and chief financial officer. In addition, Wang Xing is a director and Zhao Hongqiang is an independent director.
On September 15, Wang Kai, formerly Visteon's global chief architect and director of automated driving, joined Li Auto as chief technology officer.
The latest monthly delivery figures show that in September 2020, Li ONE saw deliveries of 3,504 units, an increase of 29.3 percent from the previous month;
In the third quarter, a total of 8,660 vehicles were delivered, an increase of 31.1 percent from the previous quarter; this year, Li Auto has delivered a total of 18,160 vehicles.
