Huawei's Honor brand said today that it is partnering with China's online-service super-app Meituan to launch a shared laptop service during this year's National Day holiday in China.
In Beijing, from 10:00-17:00 every day from October 1 to October 8, users will be able to place orders through Meituan, pay the rental fee and delivery fee, and get their laptops delivered and then collected after use.
In the national region, users can visit any Honor offline store with an Honor MagicBook display and directly consult with store staff to select a shared laptop for free use.
Honor also said that Honor shared laptops can increase productivity through multi-screen collaboration.
After using the multi-screen collaboration between mobile phone and laptop, the laptop can directly open files from the phone without transferring them to the laptop, allowing for computer-side browsing and computer-side editing.
