Chinese wearables maker Huami's Amazfit X curved screen watch will be available in Q4 of this year for RMB 1999 ($295).
At the Beyond GT Amazfit Fall 2020 launch event today, Huami announced information about the company's previously announced Amazfit X curved-screen concept watch.
The Amazfit X is Huami's exploration of smartwatch design, featuring a curved body in order to achieve the visual effect of extra large curvature.
It uses a 2.07-inch flexible curved screen with a maximum brightness of 430nit, 326ppi, 100% NTSC color gamut coverage, and a screen that has a 244% larger viewing area than a regular bracelet.
The Amazfit X features 3D curved glass and a hidden pressure-sensitive button.It also features an all-metal unibody design with a high-end titanium finish.
It is powered by BioTrackerTM2 wearable bio-tracking optical sensor that supports heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring and can automatically identify arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation in the user.
The Amazfit X comes with a 205 mAh lithium-ion battery that can last up to 7 days.It supports a magnetic charging design and can be fully charged within 2 hours.
Amazfit X launches in August 2019 and goes live for crowdfunding in August 2020 on Xiaomi YouPin.
Today, Huang Wang, CEO of Huami, announced that the Amazfit X watch will go on sale in Q4 of this year at a price of RMB 1,999.
Amazfit GTS 2 Smartwatch
Today Huami is also introducing the Amazfit GTS 2 smartwatch, which features a thin and light design with a square dial and is priced at RMB 999.
The Amazfit GTS 2 is lighter and thinner than its predecessor, with a thickness and weight of 9.7mm and 24.7 grams respectively.
It has a 1.65-inch Super Retina AMOLED screen with a maximum brightness of 450nit, and the same scratch-resistant diamond-like coating.
The Amazfit GTS 2 also supports a large number of dials and holographic displays, and combines three different materials - glass, metal, and organic - in an almost unified blend of color and texture.
The Amazfit GTS 2 currently supports 12 professional sports modes and will support up to 90 in the future.
It is identical to the Amazfit GTR 2 in terms of health functions, smart functions, music functions, etc. It supports many functions while lasting up to 7 days of daily use and 20 days of basic watch mode.

Amazfit GTR 2 Smartwatch
Mi today announced the GTR 2 smartwatch with oximetry and heart rate engine for CNY 999 for the sport version and RMB 1,099 for the leather strap version.
The Amazfit GTR 2 has a 1.39-inch, retina-grade AMOLED screen with a maximum brightness of 450nit.
It comes with a stainless steel body and leather strap in the Classic model and an aluminum body and silicone strap in the Sport model.
The Amazfit GTR 2 continues the heart rate engine of its predecessor, which is officially said to provide 24-hour care for your heart health.
It features BioTracker 2, the latest second-generation PPG biotracking optical sensor.
The Amazfit GTR 2 introduces OxygenBeats, an oximetry engine, and SomnusCare, a sleep engine, which combine to provide sleep apnea monitoring, monitoring and scoring if you're having trouble breathing during sleep.
Huami says its oximetry engine has a 96 percent success rate and an average error rate of only 1.6 percent from medical-grade provoked oxygen meter results.

The offline smart voice assistant can control the watch using voice commands without an Internet connection or Bluetooth connection to the phone, and it takes only 1.6 seconds to respond, and it currently supports more than 70 commands.
The Amazfit GTR 2 also supports Bluetooth phone calls, app message notifications, and SMS notifications, with a custom linear motor to differentiate between different message notifications.
The Amazfit GTR 2 continues to support features such as NFC bus card and Alipay offline payments, and has added the ability to lock the screen when you leave your wrist for account security.
The Amazfit GTR 2 can last up to 14 days with daily use.
Amazfit ZenBuds Sleep Earbuds
Huami has also announced that the Amazfit ZenBuds Sleep Earbuds, which have a sound rhythm to help you sleep and sleep monitoring features, will be available tomorrow for RMB 999.
It's an earbud designed for sleep, with a noise blocking design and sleep rhythm to block noise, relax and help users sleep faster.
The earbuds also have an intelligent sleep monitoring feature that analyzes sleep quality and helps users develop good sleep habits.
Huami says the headphones are equipped with Lou's kinetic iron sound generating unit inside, which can delicately simulate different nature and ambient sounds.
The headset weighs 1.78g per ear, which Huami says is 68% lighter than the average true wireless headset.
Inside the headphones is a miniature rechargeable battery that provides up to 12 hours of battery life in a single use, with a rechargeable case that provides an additional seven cycles of battery life.
