American watch brand TIMEX this week announced two new smartwatch models, and interestingly, the logo of AMAZFIT, a smartwatch brand under Huami Technologies, appears in the exterior images.
Both TIMEX smartwatch models are part of the Metropolitan product line.
They feature a round dial design and is powered by Google's Wear OS wearable platform, not uncommon for Android.
Although one can guess from the AMAZFIT lettering in the dial that Huami Technologies is involved in the collaboration, neither the box nor the default strap of this product mentions Huami Technologies.
The aforementioned new product will be officially launched on June 10 and will support the featured software developed in collaboration with Huami Technologies, which will be priced at $179.
