Guangzhou railway station launches its first 5G patrol robot

Guangzhou Railway Station has launched China's first 5G patrol robot, which can automatically measure temperature and identify passengers not wearing masks, according to Yangcheng Evening News.

The robot, which has a 1080p visibility camera and a 360-degree panoramic camera, has autonomous patrol and temperature measurement functions.

It provides live voice alerts and facial recognition when it detects passengers with high body temperature or without masks.

Even if the person is wearing a mask, the robot can still perform facial recognition, but with slightly less accuracy.

The robot will automatically avoid obstacles and go to the charging station to recharge itself.
