The Huawei Mate40 panel has started production this month with a screen size of 6.5 inches, a resolution of 2340×1080 and a refresh rate of 90Hz, according to Display insider and founder of Display Supply Chain Consultants Ross Young.

As previously reported, the Huawei Mate40 has a curved screen, the first time the standard version of the Mate series has a curved screen design.
Huawei Mate40 Pro may feature a large curved waterfall screen
The Mate40 series will have a Pro version of the Mate40 Pro, which is also curved and has a refresh rate of at least 90Hz.
According to the renders spotted by onleaks, the Mate40 Pro has a round camera module on the back and a dual-hole front, making it the first dual-hole flagship phone in the Mate series.
The Mate40 series will be powered by the Kirin 9000 processor, which is based on the 5nm process and offers a significant increase in performance and AI over its predecessor.
Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei's consumer business, has said that the Kirin 9000 chip is based on TSMC's 5nm process and has more powerful AI capabilities and CPU and GPU speeds.
