Lenovo announces world's first folding-screen PC coming to China

Lenovo ThinkPad today released a video ad for the ThinkPad X1 Fold on its official Weibo, teasing that the world's first folding screen PC will soon be available in China.

Liu Jun, executive vice president of Lenovo Group and president of Lenovo China, retweeted the Weibo and said, "Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold, the world's first folding screen PC, will redefine the PC and lead the industry revolution."

The video showcases the ThinkPad X1 Fold's extremely lightweight, lighter than 1,000 grams.

In fact, the weight of the ThinkPad X1 Fold has been announced at 999 grams.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold had been unveiled at CES 2020 with a 13.3-inch LG OLED screen with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 and a screen aspect ratio of 4:3.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold is positioned as a folding screen laptop that fits together like a book, with the screen folded in half to use one of the screens as a virtual keyboard.

It can be used as a laptop by directly covering off a screen with a keyboard, but can also be fully opened as a tablet.
