Huawei has reportedly launched the Nanniwan project, meant to circumvent products containing US technology. Now, latest reports said that Huawei is hiring for the project as well as HarmonyOS.
According to Weibo blogger @้ฟๅฎๆฐ็ ๅ , Huawei's Nanniwan project and HarmonyOS is in the midst of an internal emergency hiring process, with "urgent recruitment for development and testing with fast approval" information widely released in Huawei internal forums.
The Nanniwan mass production campaign, or the army's mass production activities in Nanniwan during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, was aimed at overcoming economic difficulties, achieving self-sufficiency in production, and sustaining a lasting war of resistance.

Huawei named the project after Nanniwan, meaning "during difficult times, it is hoped to achieve self-sufficiency."
In the process, products such as laptops, smart screens, and IoT home automation products that are "completely independent of US influence are included in the Nanniwan project."
The blogger also said that the Nanniwan project is more than that, covering a lot of ground and requiring a lot of investment, many aspects of which are drastically different.
Despite the many difficulties, Huawei is still coming up with various strategies to deal with the situation rather than sitting on the sidelines, the blogger said.
