Apple closes its oldest retail store in China

After 20:00 Beijing time tonight, China's first Apple retail store in Sanlitun, Beijing, will be closed. Apple's new store in the area will open at 10 a.m. on July 17.

In 2008, Apple opened its first Apple Store in Sanlitun, Beijing, which at the time was the world's 220th Apple Store.

After 12 years, the old store has officially closed, to be replaced by a new one not far away.

The new Apple Store in Sanlitun is built using the latest retail design language, and Apple said that various forms of creativity will be able to grow from here.
