Nio was the brand with the most insurance registrations for all-electric SUVs in China in June, data released today by the China Automotive Technology Research Center showed.
The number of insurance policies registered for Nio SUVs in June totalled 3,720, up 10 percent from the previous month.
The Nio ES8 saw 1,256 insurance registrations in June, an increase of 73% compared to the previous month.
The Nio ES6, with 2,464 units insured in June, was China's best-selling electric SUV for the 10th consecutive month.
The total number of Nio deliveries in the second quarter was 10,229 units, an increase of 168% compared to the previous quarter.
